If you’ve followed me for a while, you know I often give my pieces a story. Crocheting has always been a place of healing for me—but I’m realizing it has also become the place where I can hold the fractures of the world without breaking beneath them. Through creating pieces with stories that carry weight, I find a way to steady myself and shape something meaningful from what feels overwhelming. 

There are seasons when cruelty grows loud and injustice feels woven into the air. The world is heavy, and so many of us are carrying that ache in our own ways. I did not create Veloria to escape it—or to make peace with what should never be acceptable. I createdher to move through it. To let my hands speak when my heart is too full. 

She is born not from fantasy, but from longing. Not from only fire(rage), but from fierce tenderness. She is my offering to a world in pain.
